Our monthly shoots take place on Sundays( unless otherwise scheduled) and regularly
draw approximately 50 cowpokes from all over Western New York State and Northern Pennsylvania.
All shoots are staged at the Randolph Rod & Gun Club in Randolph NY and typically
feature 6 separate scenerios featuring props and a variety of targets.
Old West Shooters is an independant cowby action shooting club that follows
SASS (Single Action Shooting Society) rules. All matches are conducted with strict adherence to SASS rules with an emphasis
on safety.
Whether youre an accomplished Cowboy Action Shootist, new to the sport or just
curious to see what all the excitement is about, we invite you to join us, take a step back in time and share in the fun that
makes cowboy action shooting the fastest growing shooting sport in America.
Our matches begin with Registration from 8:30 - 9:30 AM. A manditory Safety
Meeting for all shooters is held at 9:45 AM with competition begining at 10 AM and lasteing until approximately 3 PM
with an hour break for lunch. All competitors must be in compliance with SASS rules. Guests of members are welcome.
All visitors are required to wear safety eyeware and are strongly advised to use ear protection as well.
